Filling the supported document field is necessary for generating a request, the rest of the process will be automated.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking on the ‘Cookie’ icon. You can then adjust the available sliders to ‘On’ or ‘Off’, then clicking ‘Save and close’. You may need to refresh your page for your settings to take effect.
When you submit a request with an attached supporting document, our advanced OCR scanners scan the data from the attachment and record it in the software connected to the app.
A reference link with a chip inside will be provided to you to find the bill or invoice. By clicking on the link, you will directly jump to the accounting software, where you can see the posted transactions.
A:To update all individual elements such as buttons and icons, open the ‘Design System’ page and edit these components directly. These changes will then be propagated to all components of the template automatically.
Then to adjust the color scheme and fonts you need to select a font or color and then click the ‘Edit Style’ icon on the design panel on the right. All changes to these will also propagate to all components instantly.
Though just be cautious as big changes to styles or elements may create alignment or accessibility issues.
The requests for asset purchases can be generated the same way as other requests.
Open the request you want to review from the accounting software or by the table in the request. Once you find your desired request, you can edit and submit it yourself.

AI automatically scans and detects updated items from the description, and the newly created item is pushed into the relevant database. In case there is no relevant database, the software automatically creates one.
Click on the Recording History in the navigation bar. You’ll see the recorded requests posted in the accounting software. open the request and go to the details tab. click on Review Request, which will again open the demand for the system.
- Step 1: Generate the request and select the type as an invoice.
- Step 2: Attach the supporting invoice.
- Step 3: The AI in Recordme will scan the attachment and detect the send and receiver names.
- Step 4: Based on these names, the AI will define whether the invoice is payable or receivable.
- Step 5: The data will be recorded in the software, and a chip will be created as a counter reference in the recordme app.
RecordMe will classify the transaction by narrowing down the meaningful information with the extensive database. The AI system of RecordMe scans the document and extracts specific item names from descriptions. Further, the system matches the item name with the chart of accounts database. Lastly, the transaction will be classified in accounting software matching description, item, and COA.
While registering a vendor/client name in the software, the system automatically records the contact's name, address (if available), and other information in the background. The newly recorded name will become part of the database and be used as per requirement. The new contact is created while posting an invoice/bill in the software.
While generating the request, you can specify the most suitable request type. In case the type has not been selected or the selected type does not match the attachment, our AI system will detect the basic difference in the layouts of bills and invoices, like the pattern of invoice/bill number, the vendor/client name, and also, matches the company name itself and the sender and receiver name on the document to determine the type of the attachment.
The taxes are classified based on the data provided in the attachment. The AI will detect the tax type and calculate the tax amount based on it. The system will scan the column and compare the amount mentioned if the tax is provided separately with all line items.

The RecordMe app is designed very simply so that a person with no accounting knowledge can understand the process. All the basic types have been added, which support the bookkeeping process. Payment type applies only to payment processing requests. If you want us to deploy your bot for payment processing, we can help you with that also, the bot can be used to record payment against a specific bill/ invoice.
The asset classification depends on the purchased item. The item will be automatically classified in a certain account head.
1. Use the review request feature if you think the recording has been done wrong.
2. Open a request with complete status.
3. Go to details.
4. Click on Review Request.
5. This will again open the request in Pending status.
